Pier Angeli (born Anna Maria Pierangeli) (June 19, 1932 - September 10, 1971) was an Italian-born actress who made her debut within "Domani é troppo tardi" (1949).
Innate within Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy, during a 1950s she was under contract to MGM and was praised for her acting in the movie Somebody Up There Likes Me.
In a period of the 1960s and until 1970 the actress returned to live & operate within Europe. In September 10, 1971 she died of an overdose of barbiturates in Beverly Hills, California.
Easily known for her romance by having James Dean, the actress married twice. Her number one marriage was to Damone & a 2nd to Italian composer Armando Trovajoli. In the period of her marriage to singer/actor Vic Damone (1954-1959 divorce), a actress asked to become freed from either her contract. She got a single boy by every union.
Her twin sister is actress Marisa Pavan.
She is interred within the Cimitière des Bulvis, in Rueil-Malmaison, Hauts-de-Seine, France.
